Breeze Technologies wins Public Governance Institute’s myGovernment Hero Award

After pitches of five finalist startups, Breeze Technologies won the “myGovernment Hero Award” at the myGovernment 2019 event of the Public Governance Institute, together with Polyteia. The startups presented their business model and implemented projects in front of an audience of public servants, politicians and corporate representatives.

“Reducing air pollution is one of the greatest challenges for cities”, says Breeze Technologies-CEO Robert Heinecke, “We are very happy that more and more cities are realising the opportunity that digital solutions can offer for air quality monitoring and clean air action.”

The Public Governance Institute (German: Institut für den öffentlichen Sektor e.V.) was established in 2005 and is supported by KPMG Germany. As a think tank, it works on the topics of public management and public corporate governance. It was the first time the myGovernment Hero Award has been issued.
