Through a collaboration between Portsmouth Public Schools, the City of Portsmouth, the Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation (VIPC), and Breeze Technologies, students gained hands-on experience with environmental sensing technology and data analysis to better understand the air they breathe every day.<\/p>\n<h2>Turning Environmental Data into Real-World Learning<\/h2>\n<p>Air Quest was designed as an immersive learning experience for rising ninth-grade students focused on air quality, weather, and public health. As part of the programme, Breeze Technologies provided air quality sensors that were installed at Manor High School and I.C. Norcom High School, enabling students to access real-time environmental data from their own schools and neighborhoods.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of learning only from textbooks, students worked directly with live environmental datasets.
