Zum 17. Mal organisiert das Fachgebiet f\u00fcr Nachrichtentechnische Systeme (NTS) der Universit\u00e4t Duisburg-Essen in Kooperation mit der NFPA Fire Protection Research Foundation aus den USA die weltweit renommierte Konferenz zu den neusten Entwicklungen aus Forschung und Technik im Bereich Brandschutz.<\/p>\n<p>Breeze Technologies war dieses Jahr erstmals auch auf der Konferenz vertreten. Das Hamburger Startup ist seit 2019 Teil des \u201eWildland Fire Sensor Research\u201c-Projekts des US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&amp;T) und der Smart Cities Internet of Things Innovation (SCITI) Labs. Als Teil des Projekts entwickelt Breeze Technologies ein luftqualit\u00e4tsdaten- und KI-basiertes Fr\u00fchwarnsystem zur Erkennung und Lokalisierung von Waldbr\u00e4nden vor ihrer weiteren Ausbreitung. Im Rahmen von konstruktiven Gespr\u00e4chen mit Experten aus verschiedenen Bereichen hatten die Vertreter von Breeze die Gelegenheit, bilaterale Gespr\u00e4che f\u00fcr k\u00fcnftige potenzielle Kooperationen zu vereinbaren: \u201eDas Feedback zu unserem neuen System zur Erkennung von Waldbr\u00e4nden mit Hilfe von Luftqualit\u00e4tsdaten war durchweg positiv.
