Breeze Technologies wins Future Hamburg Award

Today, Breeze Technologies won the first place of the Future Hamburg Award 2021. The award was looking for startups with ideas and projects for the city of tomorrow.

As award winner, Breeze Technologies receives a one-month stay in the Sunnyvale branch of Plug and Play. Within a network of more than 400 companies from all over the world, Breeze will be able to further develop its business model, create partnerships and internationalize their business. Additionally, part of the award are pilot opportunities with the award’s cooperation partners Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) and AM HAFEN CAPITAL, a Hamburg-based venture capital firm.

 

Breeze-CEO Robert Heinecke sums up: “Our team is exhilarated to win the Future Hamburg Award! Especially given last week’s decision of the European Court of Justice on air pollution in Germany, we take it as an affirmation of our work on urban air quality. The team of Breeze Technologies would also like to congratulate the other two winners, Traceless from Hamburg and Infinite Mobility from Oslo. The award winners were decided by an internationally acclaimed jury of representatives from scale-ups, corporates and the public sector that were screening applications from 15 countries. For the expert jury, the decisive factor was that Breeze Technologies brings together impact and monetization. The successful bootstrapping and the company’s success to date show: This business model has great potential in a global market.
