Breeze Technologies partner of the Hamburg Climate Week for 6th time in a row

Hamburg. For the sixth time in a row, Breeze Technologies is a partner of the Hamburg Climate Week. Like every year, the startup’s environmental science division is organizing a workshop for a local class of students. Haris Sefo, Head of Science at Breeze Technologies, is looking forward to it: “Bringing school children closer to sustainability topics such as air pollution is particularly important to us. For this purpose, we organize lessons in which we explain the backgrounds of air pollution and make simple fine dust meters out of household materials.”

For the first time, Breeze is also monitoring the air quality at the St. Catherine’s Church in Hamburg, the main location of the Climate Week. The collected air quality data are visualized locally, as well as available online through Breeze’s air quality citizen portal.

Frank Schweikert, the chairman of the Climate Week Advisory Board, is proud of the renewed commitment: “Some air pollutants are also climate pollutants, which is why air pollution is an important topic for the Hamburg Climate Week. We are pleased that Breeze Technologies is a competent partner in delivering better information about it to the public.”
